Refounding Martin Luther King, Glenn Beck Style

Yesterday, Glenn Beck compared himself to MLK. But, this isn’t the only example of Glenn Beck bastardizing memory of MLK. Glenn Beck has also snuck MLK into his the refounders graphic/ logo/collage.
Glenn Beck launched the Refounders on 9/12. Since 9/12 was ending, I guess he needed another gimmick to keep his show on the road. After characterizing government as diseased, Glenn Beck described the refounders:

Glenn Beck Rules Out Palin/Beck 2012: “What I’m Gonna Take Backseat To A Chick?”

Recently, the bizarre prospect of a Sarah Palin/Glenn Beck 2012 ticket has received a bit of attention. Sure, it’s obviously not serious. But, it did make the rounds in the news cycle.
But, what didn’t get any attention was Glenn Beck ruling out the ticket with a sexist rant. I know…a sexist rant against Sarah Palin. Shocking, right? You’d think it would have gotten some coverage. But, nope. On Palin/Beck 2012, Beck had this to say:

Confirmed: No More Nestle Ads On Glenn Beck or Any Fox News Show

Last week, ads for Nestle’s Nescafe Dolce Gusto began airing during the Glenn Beck program. Those committed to stopping Glenn Beck’s vitriol & race-baiting responded by urging Nestle to cease running ads on Glenn Beck/Fox News.
Today, Nestle confirmed that their ads will no longer appear on Glenn Beck or on any Fox News show. According to the spokesperson, “airing the spot on FOX and this program was an error that has been corrected.”
Another one bites the dust.

In the past week, Glenn Beck lost three additional sponsors, which brings the total up to 88. The most recent sponsors to drop Glenn Beck are: The History Channel, Woodman’s grocery store and Premier Foods (UK sponsor on Sky News) [see Premier Foods' statement after the jump].
This week also brought news that Fox News appears left with unsold airtime during Glenn Beck’s show.

After Sponsors Flee, Fox News Appears To have Unsold Airtime During Glenn Beck’s Show

After more than 87 sponsors fled Glenn Beck, it appears as though Fox News is left with unsold airtime during Beck’s show.
Lately, ads for The Foundation for a Better Life have been appearing on Glenn Beck’s show. I contacted them regarding pulling their ads from the Glenn Beck show and here’s what they said (emphasis added): (more…)
StopBeck.com Is Now Live!

Today is the official launch of StopBeck.com.
Since July 2, 2009, this effort has been largely Twitter based (@StopBeck) with the occasional post on JenkinsEar.com. Now, we’re kicking things up notch with this website. We’re new, so there’s not much content, but stay tuned…
