Nonsensical tirades that prey on racial anxieties, like the one Glenn Beck delivered on March 9 about the census underscore part of the reason why 119 advertisers fled his show and why the broadcast of his show in the UK has been without any advertisers for over a month now.

On February 4, Glenn Beck attacked Obama for ‘choosing’ the name Barack. Beck suggested the name was un-American:

Glenn Beck really should refrain from discussing the Obama children. It’s really dicey territory, even for him. Take for example, a recent headline from his website:

Just because YOU can’t figure out women doesn’t mean that they’re psychotic because they’re more multifaceted than “feed me, make love to me, let me sleep.”

The extreme hatred of Glen Beck by the “progressives” never ceases to amaze me. These comments are clearly jokes, jokes that Jon Stewart could make and clearly get away with and far less egregious than about 90% of the lib comments surrounding any mention of Sarah Palin, but you act like Beck is calling for women to be denied the vote and chained to our beds. Truly ridiculous. This effort (and this blog) is a infantile rejection of any semblance of reason or thought. It suggests and typifies the left-leaning, academic/media elite paradigm and rejects independent thought and reasonable discourse. In short, it’s fascist. Carry on, fascists.
