TurboTax Becomes 120th Advertiser To Drop Glenn Beck
On March 9th, TurboTax advertisements began running on Glenn Beck’s show on the Fox News Channel. Participants in the StopBeck effort promptly sprang to action. Less than 24 hours later, TurboTax announced that they would be pulling their advertisements from Glenn Beck’s show.
This brings the total number of advertisers to drop Glenn Beck to 120. On a related note, the broadcast of Glenn Beck’s show in the U.K. has been running without any advertisers for over a month now.
TurboTax’s statement:
Thanks everyone for your feedback, & for reminding us of what we value. We’ve pulled advertising from the Glenn Beck show.
Many thanks to all those participating in this effort. Great work!
Onward we go…

Excellent work guys!!!
Pretty soon beck will be doing his show for minimum wage!! Or, if all goes well, he’ll be canceled and he’ll be back to scrawling his messages of hatred of all things American on the bathroom walls of bus stations all over the South.

Great work. Thank you, TurboTax. In spite of all the yelling about “America doesn’t want change”, the growing numbers in the Coffee Party and the comments on sites like these show most of America does not agree with Beck and those who goose step behind him.

I wonder if its those on the left or is it people realizing that even though he pretends to be, he’s no friend of freedom.

Glad to hear more sponsors are dropping this wacko with his chalkboard. How are his viewers and listeners not insulted by the elementary school approach to everything.

Glenn Beck is still on the air because he is doing what he is told. There is no other way he could remain without sponsorship. He is merely implementing an agenda.

What Beck is doing is brainwashing (that is if there are any brains in his viewership) and those behind him are not as wacko as he is. It used to be called Treason, except there is no outside country trying to take over the U.S. It’s coming from within and don’t be surprised if Cheney and his ilk are behind keeping him on the air.

I want to thank you for a list of companies that I and my family will now never do business with.
Your efforts are helpful to identify real stupid companies that want to buckle to your stupidity.

Dam good statement my friend . We would also like to get a copy of that listen. So that my family and friend can help out with boycotting these companies as well.

I know this may seem like a contradiction in terms (philosophy), but I am a VERY conservative fellow who believes that Beck is the McCarthy of our time…only more public. The way you have – from what I can tell from the postings – “requested” the advertisers to reconsider, rather than “demanding” and calling for ineffective boycotts, is interesting…appealing to reason over threats is something I do not have a problem with; it is the “I’ll never shop at (name of business or store) again” crowd…that is like pissing into the wind. The one thing I would like to bring to everyone’s attention is that Beck’s audience is approx 3 million…one-tenth of one-percent of the population. We conservatives aren’t stupid, we know a set-up when we see one. Be patient, Beck will eventually (soon) lose his appeal. Keep up the campaign.
I know you folks will disagree, but I believe O’Reilly OVER ALL presents a more realistic view, i.e. less insane. Conservatism, like safe sex, practiced correctly provides results that everyone can be happy with, except of course those that believe anything less than a Marxist government is not a good government.

Where can you find the list of these spineless companies?
