On April 5, Northland Juices’ advertisements began running on Glenn Beck’s show. As with other advertisers, participants in the StopBeck effort sprang to action. We informed Northland Juices that this is not about politics, but about Glenn Beck’s history of vitriol, sexism and preying on racial anxieties. We kindly requested that they follow the responsible action of over 200 other former advertisers and remove their ads from Glenn Beck’s show.

Your efforts paid off as Northland Juices advised that they have removed their ads from Glenn Beck’s show. Their statement:

We are no longer running our commercials on the Glen Beck Show [sic]. Our advertising agency has determined that we can reach our core consumers more effectively and efficiently through alternative programming and time slots.

Thank you.

Great work all!

Of note: tomorrow also marks the 2 month anniversary of Glenn Beck’s broadcast in the UK running without any commercials. Accordingly, we’re having a little fundraiser: $2 for 2 months (1 dollar for every month that Glenn Beck has been running without ads thanks to your efforts).  If you are able, your support would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks to all those participating in this effort.  Your tweets and emails do matter.

Onward we go…
