Vodafone Confirms No More Ads On Glenn Beck
Last week, after 4 months of zero advertisements, a few ads reappeared on Glenn Beck’s broadcast in the UK. Vodafone was among those companies whose ads reappeared. Based on revenue, Vodafone is the word’s largest mobile telecommunications company; they also own approximately 45% of Verizon Wireless.
As with other sponsors, participants in the StopBeck effort sprang to action. We kindly requested that they follow the responsible action of well over 100 other former sponsors and refrain from advertising on Glenn Beck’s show.
Well, your tweets paid off. This morning, Vodafone confirmed that they will no longer be running ads on Glenn Beck’s program. They even tweeted about it:

Great work all! See your tweets and emails do matter.
Onward we go…

As an aside: Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the StopBeck effort. Many thanks for your continued participation in this accountability effort.
