Dairy Crest Pulls Ads From Glenn Beck’s Show In The UK
After four months of zero sponsors, a few advertisements recently started running on the broadcast of Glenn Beck’s show in the UK. But, don’t fret. Participants in the StopBeck effort along with the StopBeck UK effort are taking action. Since we’ve geared back up, Coca-Cola and Vodafone ceased sponsoring Glenn Beck.
Today, Dairy Crest, which is a major UK based dairy products company, confirmed that they’ve pulled their ads from Glenn Beck’s show. They join an already long list of companies that refuse to sponsor Glenn Beck’s irresponsible vitriol.
Dairy Crest’s statement sent to the StopBeck UK effort:
Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your e-mail of 28th June drawing our attention to the Glenn Beck programme on Fox News.
Having looked into issue you raised we can confirm that no further Dairy Crest advertisements will air during future Glenn Beck shows.
Thank you again for contacting us.
Great work all! Special thanks to the StopBeck UK effort for their work in getting Dairy Crest to cease sponsoring Glenn Beck’s show.
Onward we go…

Collectivists have the totally erroneous idea, implied or explicit, that for trades (economic activity) to be moral, both parties must receive equal value. This is the root of their philosophy, their worldview, their erroneous claim to the 'high moral ground', and virtually all their damaging policy proposals and enactments.
The truth is that in economic activity (trades) both parties gain–or their won't be any trade! “I'll do something good for you if you'll do something good for me.”
Socialism must always fail to improve circumstances because its root tenets require interfering with people who are voluntarily improving their circumstances by freely interacting (trading) with each other for their mutual benefit.
This morally correct concept of improvement to both parties in a trade has many important ramifications in key areas such as employment, prices, wealth creation and distribution, monopoly, theories of value, and envy. You will find these ramifications and additional examination of the other major root error of collectivism at <http://www.trybasics.com> in the 'Civilization' section. “When all else fails, try basics.”

Congratulations and THANKS for everything you've got going on!
The effort to pull Beck out by his roots (money) is noble and it appears you are winning it. Rupert will have to make a personal decision one of these days… new swimming pool or more insanity on Faux.

Let's see… Opressing free speech, it reeks of socialism or communism to me.
What is he saying that scares you so much that you want to shut him up?
A challenge you to back up your claims with examples, show clips of him doing what you claim he is doing or saying.

Why am I not surprised that you would suppress my comment?

I got this response from 1800PetMeds when I wrote them to tell them that we would no longer be customers because of their sponsorship. While they aren't completely off the hook, to me this is very different from choosing his program to sponsor.
Thank you for your feedback Matt.
We value our customers and strive for exceptional customer service. For your information, we buy broad rotations, 6:00 AM to Midnight on cable stations and we do not have control over when and which shows our commercial will run. We do NOT specifically buy the show you are mentioning. We do value your business and hope you will keep 1-800-PetMeds in mind for any future pet medication you may need.
If you require any further information or assistance, please either reply to this email or call us at 1-800-PetMeds.

Matt,
1-800-PetMeds' response is simply disingenuous.
What PetMeds has is called a run of service agreement and scores of other companies were in the exact same situation. They can easily exclude their ads from appearing on his show, but they choose not to.
And, yes, it's important that they exclude their ads from his show. The point of this effort is to get virtually every advertiser refusing to advertise on his show. If a few won't play ball and be responsible it spoils it for the bunch.
