Commemorate 9/11 With Glenn Beck For The Low Low Price Of…
What’s the best way to respectfully remember a national tragedy and honor the deaths of thousands of fellow citizens? By giving Glenn Beck money, of course!
Glenn Beck not only fetishizes 9/11, but he exploits this tragedy for his personal gain. Last year, Glenn Beck launched the 9/12 Project, which describes itself as follows:
The 9-12 Project is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001.
That’s right. Last year, Glenn Beck started a self-serving “movement” that’s sole purpose was to encourage people to feel as frazzled, terrified and disoriented as they were immediately after 9/11. (Of note: the 9/12 project was basically the proto tea party).
This year, Glenn Beck is upping the contemptibility. He’s heading to Alaska, where he’ll be holding an 9/11 event with Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin said she “can think of no better way to commemorate 9/11 than to gather with patriots who will never forget.” Yea, patriots who will never forget…and fork over loads of cash.
This is not a free event:
- Regular tickets range from $73.75 – 129.50
- VIP tickets go for $225.00 (this ticket includes a “meet and greet with Glenn Beck)
Glenn Beck holding a for-profit 9/11 event is odious enough. But, there’s one additional kick in the gut. Those patriots that are paying Glenn Beck to commemorate 9/11 will be lining the pockets of a guy that once said he “hates 9/11 victims’ families…because they’re always complaining.”

It is just about as bad as spending an 8/28 rally that is supposedly “for the troops” with someone who suggests that the purple heart is a “progressive distortion of George Washington intended”. A slap in the face to anyone actually wounded in combat….

Not enough money in the world to pay me for attending this odious event

It’s all so sad, these people who think Beck and Palin have “values” and are “trustworthy.” The fleecing of America.

Beck said he hates about 10 people out of the 3000 victim’s families… Now, if you’re smart enough to keep his comments in context, you’ll understand that he’s talking about the constant whiners and complainers and not just because they happen to be the family members of a 9/11 victim… Surely, you’re not suggesting that we must “Love” everyone, no matter how they act, just because they have lost a family member due to tragedy.. If that were true, then you “Beck-Haters” have already failed because Glenn Beck lost his mother to suicide but I notice that doesn’t stop people from hating him.. Is losing a family member to murder or suicide somehow easier than losing a family member in 9/11.??? I don’t think so… Now, Katrina “victims” were told to leave many many times and move inland and they REFUSED to go… They have nobody to blame but themselves…
