Fox News Seemingly Snubs Glenn Beck
After Glenn Beck said that President Obama was a “racist” with a “deep-seated hatred for white people, or the white culture,” Rupert Murdoch had this to say:
“And um, that was something which perhaps shouldn’t have been said about the President, but if you actually assess what he [Glenn Beck] was talking about, he [Beck] was right.“
Glenn Beck’s show has lost hundreds of advertisers and his UK broadcast has run without any commercials for nearly 7 months now. When asked about this, Murdoch dismissed the advertisers’ concerns – and even implied that if they really wanted to stop funding Glenn Beck, they should leave Fox News as a whole.
It’s not just Rupert Murdoch either. If you listen to Fox News’ executives, they all seem very proud of Glenn Beck.
But, Fox News’ newest promos suggest otherwise. The ad features Fox News’ top news and opinion people, except for Glenn Beck:
I don’t get it? Is Fox News embarassed or something? Or, is this just the consequence of having a sponsor dry show?
Oh, and keep in mind, we already know that there’s a lot of acrimony over at Fox News between their established personalities/staff and Glenn Beck. I wonder how this promo snub is going over.

Sorta surprising. Glenn is the hero of the stupid. The rest (sans Shep) are simple the little generals.
I simply laugh whenever I see a Fox viewer act as though this is serious news.

Can we please remember to place the word ‘News’ in inverted commas when referring to Fox, as it’s anything but.

Really? Are you saying because in that commercial they did not show Beck that that is somehow a snub?
“The ad features Fox News’ top news and opinion people, except for Glenn Beck:”
That was a plug for election results…All those in the plug were involved in the election and its results, Glenn Beck was not part of the November election news team. Notice it said “Americas Election Headquarters” Nice work Homer

What happened to the 1st amendment? If your view differs from his watch anoth show. That what people do in a democratic society. They don’t try to destroy people. Has President Obama divided this country fruther than ever – who would argue that isn’t true. Open you mind!
