Total number of companies that refuse to have ads run on Glenn Beck: 300+

Your efforts are working: In addition to advertiser losses at home, the UK broadcast of Glenn Beck’s show has run for over a year without ads due to your efforts.

Notably: Reports by the New York Daily News, New York Times Magazine and The Washington Post demonstrate that the number of companies unwilling to advertise on Glenn Beck’s show continues to grow to this day…

  • Most recently, on March 23, 2011, New York Daily News reported that the total number of companies that refuse to run ads on Glenn Beck’s show is approaching 400.
  • On September 29, 2010, New York Times Magazine put that number at 296.
  • On March 15, 2010, The Washington Post reported that the number exceeded 200.

Keep it up!

To date (3/30/11), here is a list of statements from a fraction of the total number of advertisers that either pulled ads from or took proactive measures to ensure that their ads do not appear on the Glenn Beck Program in the United States, the U.K., or both. [Note: An advertiser's presence in this list does not suggest or imply endorsement of StopBeck effort. It merely states the simple truth that these companies do not advertise on Glenn Beck's program. For details about individual reasoning, please see the accompanying statement.]

I want to recognize the following organizations’ contributions in holding Glenn Beck accountable for his irresponsible vitriol, propagation of sexism and preying on racial anxiety. So, thank you: Color of Change, SEIU and Media Matters.

And, of course, big thanks to all this participating in the StopBeck Effort.  Your tweets and emails do matter.

Onward we go..

God Bless you for your efforts and I would say that the early withdrawals of sponsors is look like a wise decision. The hate mongering in the media is just out of hand and while the media continues this trend I am glad that some corporations have the conscience of the bottom line with values. All is not lost but the escalation of violence is directly proportionate to the media prompting. How the TEA party is perceived as a grass roots organization is only because the media teaches that. No organization assembles that fast nationally without a national conscience. The TEAs are not a ‘happening’. They walk around acting like republicans but they are only extremist conservatives, the far end of the spectrum being totalitarian in their behavior. If they start national riots for their new nationalism ideology, it will be a disaster we do not need. The hate media has to stop.

Only a Beck Ditto head would think this website is trying to silence free speech. (that’s S-P-E-E-C-H). What we’re doing is trying to stop HATE speech, which from reading Patriot’s rage, comes easily from the conservatives.

This entire website is such an excellent example of the meaning of Beck’s book, “Arguing with Idiots.” It is and has always been liberal morons like you who have created the perfect conditions for enormous wars. By sitting on your hands and weeping about all the bullcrap that you can think of, while simultaneously condemning anyone who has a conservative (i.e. clear-thinking) point of view, you make each of us just a little less safe every single day.

Meanwhile, our Dear Leader is doing his part to help destroy what is left of America. You liberals are such pathetic excuses for citizens it is stunning. Arguing with Idiots is why conservatives have given up on you. You are beyond hope.

Yes, free speech is only for those that agree with you – when palin and mac were at a high school in Arizona, one of the students had the temerity to call mac a ‘neo-con’ and was forcibly ejected – we can only permit free speech for those that spread lies and hate like palin, hannity, beck and limbaugh

I’ll make this easy: I challenge you to refute anything that Beck has said on his TV program. You must use reliable sources – not hate-filled blogs that spew half truths and full lies. If someone can show me a specific series of comments he has said that are completely wrong, I’ll consider it. Until then, quit trying to take away my freedoms via government control! You advocate using force to accomplish your goals rather than solicit the good will of people. You’re messed up! So sit down and shut up!

free speech is what you oppose. America guarantees free speech. You oppose America.

please realize that you are doing harm to our way of life when you attempt to stifle anyone.

the framers of America had you in mind when they protected Becks’ right to say.

there are many other nations just waiting for a good
counter propaganda minister like…YOU to set the preferred agenda for consumption by the masses.

Point out an untruth or racist quote made by Beck.

funny how the White house never called the red phone
to defend Van Jones ,Valerie J.,or Anita Dunn.

two of them left the White house on weekend nights so the press wouldn’t notice much. why no slander suits sir???

Repression of free speech is not a playground. You are in the area of the pool reserved for liberal fascists and communists.

You are jealous of a successful American capitalist who is winning the word game with the truth.

prove in detail that you have a case.

looks to me that you might like your own media empire too.

the outrageous stuff noted in the link provided in post #13

most untruths are small potatoes folks.

you must ignore the big stuff to get tweaked by these
    minor factual misstatements.

Beck spends a lot of time talking without a script to
    make these few factual errors.

Have you listened to our politicians lately.
they tell intentional misstatements to persuade the
people to do their bidding. It’s called rhetoric, but
artful lies are the product in many cases.

fact check the President if you want some really consequential material misstatements.
you’ll need to devote considerable time.

Glenn Beck False statement log from Politifact.

Beck’s Lie-”In the health care bill, we’re now offering insurance for dogs.”
Politifact’s Truth- Like so many claims in the health care debate, Beck has taken a kernel of something in the bill and spun it to an absurd conclusion. Included in the House bill is the creation of a Public Health Workforce Corps to address shortages in the public health workforce. The program would provide scholarships and education loan repayment assistance for public health professionals serving in areas of need. Veterinarians are included among those public health professionals.

Glenn Beck’s Lie-John Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, “has proposed forcing abortions and putting sterilants in the drinking water to control population.”
    Politifact’s Truth-
    Holdren never endorsed these ideas

Glenn Beck’s Lie–Less than 10 percent of Obama’s Cabinet appointees “have any experience in the private sector.”
    Politifax Truth-
Most of them do have private sector experience, to varying degrees.

Glenn Beck’s Lie-”Mitt Romney … gave you government health care that is now bankrupting the state” of Massachusetts
    Politifax Truth-
It’s the economy, actually. Just like most other states that are having to make huge budget cuts to balance their budgets.

Glenn Beck’s Lie-”Why do we have automatic citizenship upon birth? We’re the only country in the world that has it.
    Politifax Truth-
Brazil, Canada, Guatamala, Romania…We could go on.

Glenn Beck’s Lie-Labor union president Andy Stern is “the most frequent visitor” at the White House.
    Politifax Truth-
Only if you use incomplete, outdated data. For starters Cabinet members and many other members of the government don’t sign into the Visitor’s log. During the time period the only names that were released were specific names that had been requested not an analysis of all the names on the entire visitor’s log.

If you understood free speech, instead of talking out of your ass, you'd know that you can yell 'fire' in a crowded theater, but will be responsible for the consequences when people are trampled to death and there is, in fact, no fire. You can say whatever you want, but be ready to accept the consequences. Beck says whatever he wants, and now there are people who want to get his show off the air because they believe it's damaging political discourse in this country. This is the consequence of him sitting there spewing bullshit. We have just as much right to try to get him off the air as he does to try to stay on the air, and it has nothing to do with free speech. Again, if you knew anything about what that phrase actually means, you'd understand that. I won't bother responding to the rest of your drivel because it doesn't even make sense. Wake up.

Everyone has a right to their own opinions, thats true, but to be ALLOWED on a national TV “news” program and say your opinion is wrong. The news is supposed to be an unbiased place to get information, not a place for you to spout your unfounded opinions. News programs in this country have become nothing more than entertainment, and thats not what they are supposed to be. If you want real news, try watching BBC. Not only is their news more accurate than ours because they have no stake in our politics, but the British system of government is completely different from ours. Yeah, Beck deserves to be boycotted for all his poison he feels is his right to spew, but then, so should ALL news networks and programs that try to entertain us with opinions and speculation instead of giving us the facts of what is really going on in our country and our world today.

You should probably start with Beck's show NOT being a “news” program… Not only that but Beck has never said he had a news program but it is the truth as HE sees it not necessarily the actual truth. You watch and make your own opinions if you wanna believe him word for word get a hobby.

This site is for the Obama few and again America is being sold out by the few who hold nothing dear about what America is, was, or ever will be! You folks are lost and will never listen to the truth. If you don't want to here what the man has to say…..get off FOX but for those of us who don't like to here the main stream, bias (ABC, CBS & NBC) and want fair reporting from all sides watch FOX….If it is not what you want to here…..MOVE ON!!!!!

SO you suggest we get our facts from MSNBC, NPR or other places that hide facts? Shyah…. ridiculous.

What is funny is, companies like Toyota are being attacked by General Motors now… so they are fools to go against Beck who is exposing the Obama cockroaches.

I agree Beck's show is full of HATE SPEECH — especially in the videos he plays of Obama and his minions all spilling hatred from their mouths day in and day out………… that's the source of the hate speech on Beck's show!

    THEIR OWN WORDS.

You've never even seen a Beck show it's clear….. because he's never said anything remotely like this. It's all their own words.

For you to defend the hate speech of these gov't criminals is despicable.

Ken, these people are purely going on heresay. The only hate speech is that of the president and his other minions and their own words which is what Beck plays.

The KKK are national socialists, = Democrats, like George Soros who owns the Dem party.

What I find hypocritical is that the progressives don't mind taking money from a NAZI who helped kill Jews in WWII, he funds most of their poisonous organizations. Progressives are socialists, and that's what Nazis were, socialists. Only these under Obama are worse as they are global socialists… world government fascists.

WHEN WILL THEY RENOUNCE THEIR DIRTY NAZI MONEY?

Looks like Charles is a complete rendition of the “Patriots” of our country. Totally excites me!!! We have all the proof that his kind have no place in American Leadership. Let them cling to their guns and Bibles, right along with their ignorance. They are incapable of processing truth or complex facts. Their leaders are Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Palin. Their breed is dying out and they are reacting with fear and temper tantrums. While running around like chickens with their heads cut off screaming the sky is falling over and over….While they are distracted spewing fear, hate, lies, and breeding more ignorant children, the grown-ups will continue to run the country forward. Why waste your time trying to prove anyting to them? THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF GRASPING the TRUTH. They will continue to get pimped by the GOP into doing their dirty work, while the GOP sits back and does nothing to make this country better…they will continue to fight to deregulate for Wall Street, BP, and any corporation that will line their pockets and leave the Beck fans to eat the blocks of gold they have spent every dime on…But hope they don't expect the govt to step in and save their asses….that would be socialism…..so, let them make Beck richer…they are too stupid to read Forbes were Beck pretty much made fun of the whole deal stating don't buy into that crap, I don't…..But, they'll defend Beck and Palin til their dying day……Let em, they are dying out already!

Fox News is NOT a news channel. They are a political campaing station for the GOP turning Republicans into mindless, mean spirited, hating, ill advised sheople. or sheeple….which ever you prefer….

Read Glenn's Bio and it becomes apparent that he has psychological problems – that were caused by his mothers problems and her killing herself , he turn to drugs and alcohol and then religion which did nothing to help him ,,, If you watch his show he seems to cry a lot = he is most likely manic depressive and this why he attacks others , he most likely hears voices telling him to do so
