Total number of companies that refuse to have ads run on Glenn Beck: 300+

Your efforts are working: In addition to advertiser losses at home, the UK broadcast of Glenn Beck’s show has run for over a year without ads due to your efforts.

Notably: Reports by the New York Daily News, New York Times Magazine and The Washington Post demonstrate that the number of companies unwilling to advertise on Glenn Beck’s show continues to grow to this day…

  • Most recently, on March 23, 2011, New York Daily News reported that the total number of companies that refuse to run ads on Glenn Beck’s show is approaching 400.
  • On September 29, 2010, New York Times Magazine put that number at 296.
  • On March 15, 2010, The Washington Post reported that the number exceeded 200.

Keep it up!

To date (3/30/11), here is a list of statements from a fraction of the total number of advertisers that either pulled ads from or took proactive measures to ensure that their ads do not appear on the Glenn Beck Program in the United States, the U.K., or both. [Note: An advertiser's presence in this list does not suggest or imply endorsement of StopBeck effort. It merely states the simple truth that these companies do not advertise on Glenn Beck's program. For details about individual reasoning, please see the accompanying statement.]

And, of course, big thanks to all this participating in the StopBeck Effort.  Your tweets and emails do matter.

Onward we go..

It's not that we're afraid of Beck, it's just that so many of you hateful bigots believe all the lies he tells you…..without questioning anything.
Is that bit about Thomas' English Muffins suppose to be a joke……if not, you should look it up on google.

Why all the Anti Beck? he is only trying to take back our country from the Socialist-Communist policies of Larry, Moe & Curly AKA Barack, Nancy & Harry and throw in Biden as the court Jester. You people that voted for him and still support him must love having your rights taken away, the constitution trampled on and huge government spending and deficits that our children and grandchildren will be paying off, and illegal aliens. I am genuinely concerned that the American public will even have the right to vote this Master of Disaster' out. My biggest fear is that he will be president for life.

Better take another look at that list. I have been seeing a few of them advertise on Beck's show. Especially the late night re-run.

Many of them found out that they lost more business by being on your list and decided to get off of your list.

But I love people saying “Beck lies”. Ok be specific. What is he lying about?

Ok wow, posters who actually believe the crap coming out of Beck's mouth are just as unintelligent as he is. He lies, makes stuff up and is about as un-American as a person can get. He recently tried take credit for the civil rights movement which was started by Martin Luther King Jr. A man who lead the Montgomery Bus boycott, founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and won the Nobel Peace Prize. What has Glen Beck done that is American, well, he got arrested a lot I suppose. Once for theft, another time for drunk driving. Beck actually believes that Obama used the http://www.cars.gov site, which was created for registration to the cash for clunkers program, was used to collect personal information so the Obama administration could illegally listen in on phone conversations. Interestingly it was his, and yours (if you are Beck supporter) hero, George W. Bush, who actually instituted wire tapping without a warrant and other “sacrifices of freedom” under the guise of improving homeland security. Wake up people, Bush and republicans came closer than ever in history during the 8 years of the bush administration to creating the first american dictatorship. And in the end, if Beck doesn't shut his trap, he's going to have enough mindless morons following him that it's going to start a civil war. Think for yourselves people. Beck is a moron who has nothing but his ratings and the money in his pockets in mind.

All you socialists can go live in Iran for all I care. Beck is right on the money – Obama is selling America down the drain and you’re too blind to see it. Well, I get it. Socialism will eventually ruin the United States. Capitalism is what made America so prosperous in the first place. You’ll realize Beck was right when it’s too late to do anything about it.

Clearly liberals/progressives are the biggest hypocrits. Pretending to champion the 1st Amendment/free speech (ACLU liberal to the core) – you rank right up there with NOW and their dissing of Palin. Liberals are race-baiters, freedom haters, liars, lacking in logic and intelligence of any kind and just basically miserable hate mongering, sub-humans. Thanks for the list of companies, many of whom I have been a customer of for years, so I know who to cancel, boycott and generally avoid.

You are incorrect in every single one of your facts. Come on, this isn’t even a fun debate. You are actually the one that has been lied too. You’d be supreised how many facts we check. Do you ever even listen to his show? You sound like a broken record, and you know what, broken records get thrown away. You will lose this if for no other reason, the guy calls on Jesus on a secular network. Just wait and watch. I’ve got a another 5k bet on this one too. Man I feel so sorry for you all.

Both sides of the issue are at fault. When you dedicate a site in an attempt to silence one that you cannot tolerate, then you set ugly precedents. What is lacking in the media is proper debate through valid arguments. Arguments that are not based in fact and are mainly “gut feelings” or emotional hold no weight and are not an argument at all. In these forums I mainly see personal attacks and labeling that are lacking any substantial basis or just a shred of fact wrapped in a heap of lies. Keith Olberman is just as guilty if not more. I do not believe one should organize a group with the intent of silencing Keith nor Glenn as it is a cheap tactic to avoid valid discourse and argument.

Folks should wake up and see that you are being manipulated by both sides. Think for yourselves a question everything. Develop your own opinions through the careful evaluation and healthy debate of fact based information. I remain loyal to the truth only. Anything that does not bring me closer to the truth is worthless and a waste of time.

I challenge one to critically question the champions of one’s crusade with as much if not more energy. Cease with the name calling and labeling as it will put one in a position of weakness in any debate and is the last resort of imbeciles.

Think independently: Don’t be a minion. Revolt against the masters of rhetoric as they are in the employ of powerful men of evil intent.

Here’s one for now: look up pictures of both events (but it’s not the year 2090) here is one video that shows pictures and commentary from both rallies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCQgPQQRhe8

Acorn? Just watch the news, where they actually report it- they have multiple states where they are being investigated for voter fraud- that’s fact. Also- they have been de-funded, then re-funded, then de-funded because of their issues- there is a party that really wants them funded- they must have a reason?

Van Jones: Glen Beck is not one of those ‘bury corrections at the back of the paper’ kind of guys- I can’t find the video that fast- but he led the show like the next day or something to correct the reason Van Jones was in jail/prison/whatever.

    John Holdren: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/07/21/obamas-science-czar-considered-forced-abortions-sterilization-population-growth/
    and http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/Obamas-science-czar-suggested-compulsory-abortion-sterilization-50783612.html
“snopes” states that it was presented as a ‘hypothetical’ situation…so we are dicing words- he did present these ideas and it is in a textbook.

“You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Keep up the good work as the more you try to put Glenn down the bigger he grows. If you are hurting him so bad how is it when the boycott started he had less than 10 employees and now has over 10 times that number. A mind is like a parachute – it only works when its OPEN

It is obvious from the postings that NO ONE have ever tuned in and watched Glenn or listened to his radio show – instead getting FALSE information from the Progressives trying to destroy our great country.

You have been brainwashed to do exactly what they want you to do – BLINDLY follow any and all LIES they tell you. They want people who DO NOT THINK – only blindly follow.

WHEN SOMEONE TELLS ME – DO NOT WATCH/LISTEN – My first thought is WHAT IS IT THAT THEY DO NOT WANT ME TO HEAR and WHY? Sentitient beings QUESTION these tactics and find the CORRECT answers.

GLENN AND FOX SHOW PROOF – using the PROGRESSIVES OWN WORDS – direct unedited playback of interviews where they tell supporters their INTENT is to destroy the economy and the COUNTRY.

What really Scares me – is all of this BS is based on LIES and distortions. They are NOT attempting to PROVE GLENN and FOX wrong – they are only trying unsuccessfully to DISCREDIT.

If you would open your MINDS and your HEARTS – you might just learn something,

I feel sorry for all of you who REFUSE to think – you have no idea what YOU ARE MISSING

    Glenn consistently states
May Truth be your anvil and NON VIOLENCE be your hammer.
He is never stated anything that could be construed as racist.

I pledge Allegiance to the flag and the UNITED STATES of America

Thank you for letting us know where NOT to shop – funny my family does not use many of these places anyways – what ever… Most of them are worthless – ummm is it because they ARE progressives too? I’m just sayin… Just bought Glenn’s new book BROKE and lovin it! Oh, by the way I bought it at Wal-Mart – hey that was on this list… last time I go there… I like TARGET better anyways

Just scanned your list, and contacted all of the companies on it that I do business with to let them know that I am also boycotting them.
