Glenn Beck’s UK Broadcast Running Ad Free For More Than A Year…
Mar 28th
Beginning February 9, 2010, the UK broadcast of Glenn Beck’s Fox News Show began running without any advertisements. It remained sponsor-less for nearly a year.
On February 7, 2011, just before 1 year anniversary of Beck’s UK broadcast running sponsor-less, a small amount of ads returned. Consequently, along with the StopBeck UK effort, participants in the StopBeck effort sprang to action. We contacted advertisers and kindly requested that the follow the responsible action taken by hundreds of other companies and refrain from financially supporting Glenn Beck’s vitriol.
In short order, advertisers quickly fled Glenn Beck’s UK broadcast again. On February 18, 2011, Glenn Beck’s UK broadcast resumed running without advertisements. It More >
NY Daily News: Nearly 400 Advertisers Are Boycotting Glenn Beck’s Show
Mar 23rd
From a March 23, 2011 NY Daily News article by Aliyah Shahid:
There are several indications that the whiteboard-loving host and Fox soon could be parting ways.
One of the network’s senior execs, Joel Cheatwood, is expected to join Beck’s media company, Mercury Radio Arts.
And Beck and his fiery rhetoric have created a rocky relationship with Fox advertisers.
A source told the Daily News that the number of advertisers currently boycotting Beck’s program is now closing in at 400.
According to Nielsen Media Research, during the first quarter of 2011, Beck lost more than a third of his audience over last year–more than one million viewers.

Yorkshire Tea Removes Ads From Glenn Beck’s Show
Feb 9th
Beginning February 9, 2010, Glenn Beck’s UK broadcast started running without any commercials. But, on February 7, 2011, a small amount of ads returned to Glenn Beck’s UK broadcast. Drats! Just before we were about to make our 1 year ad-free announcement too. Perhaps the return of ads is a pitiable attempt to thwart our celebration?
It’s worth noting that a British MP recently mentioned Glenn Beck’s UK ad losses during a parliamentary debate. Perhaps Fox News finally felt shame by the nearly year-long commercial free run? Either way, there’s a bright side: they currently don’t have enough ads to fill all the slots. More >

More Ad Errors During Glenn Beck’s Time Slot…
Nov 22nd
Recently, I wrote a post discussing the increased ad mistakes during Glenn Beck’s time slot. These were clear errors. The referenced companies ceased advertising on Glenn Beck’s program a while ago and never changed their positions. In other words, Fox News either by accident or in desperation, ran ad or two of theirs anyway.
Of note, I’m not just saying “desperation” to be cheeky. Last Friday, ads for Philip Anschutz’s Foundation for a Better Life ran five times…in a row…during Glenn Beck’s show. I’m not an expert, but five ads in a row paid for by the same ultra conservative looks pretty desperate to More >

Oct 20th

“Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We have carefully More >
