Report: Glenn Beck’s Last Show On Fox News Will Be June 30

On April 6, 2011, Glenn Beck announced that he’ll “transition off” his Fox News show. Today, it is being reported that Glenn Beck’s final show on Fox News will take place on June 30, 2011.
More than 300 advertisers excluded their ads from Glenn Beck’s Fox News program since late July 2009. The New York Times reported that Fox News saw “the refusal of hundreds Fox advertisers” to place ads on Beck as an issue that influenced the cancellation of Beck’s show.

A number of conservative activists and bloggers say they’re furious at media magnate Glenn Beck for what they call content theft. Over the past several years, Beck has relied on video, audio and written content from others to fill his radio and television shows, as well as his websites. Often he has credited his fellow conservatives for their work. Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts announced today that Glenn Beck will be transitioning off his daily Fox News program.
From an April 6, 2011 press release:

Recently, the NYT reported that Fox News officials are “contemplating life without” Glenn Beck. Meaning: They’re considering not renewing his contract, which is up in December. One of the factors is the fact that over 300 advertisers are boycotting Glenn Beck’s show. This speculation has been fueled by recent reports that Glenn Beck’s ratings are plummeting and discussions about his advertiser problem.
