This chart gives perspective on some of Glenn Beck’s topics. From it, you can get a sense of what he spends his time talking about. For comparison, I looked at other shows on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC. Even by Fox News’ standards, Glenn Beck’s topic selections are somewhat out there. (more…)
Constant Contact’s ads recently started running on Glenn Beck’s program on Fox News.
As with other advertisers, the StopBeck effort reached out to Constant Contact. We kindly requested that they follow the responsible action of hundreds of other former advertisers and refrain from advertising on Glenn Beck’s show.
In a statement sent to the StopBeck effort, Constant Contact advised that they have pulled their ads from Glenn Beck’s show:
Our ads are no longer running during Glenn Beck’s program, and we will not be advertising on his show in the foreseeable future.
Great work all!

Yesterday, Michelle Obama was on the Tom Joyner show. She thanked folks for their prayers, saying:
And let me just tell your listeners that it means all the world to us to know that there are prayer circles out there and people who are keeping the spirits clean around us.
This morning, Glenn Beck warped this fairly benign statement into a claim that Michelle Obama is mixing voodoo magic into her Christianity; he also suggests that she’s summoning demons. Here’s the audio of Glenn’s conversation with a caller:

As of October 9, the broadcast of Glenn Beck’s show in the U.K. has run without any commercials for nearly eight months thanks to your efforts.
The Fox News Channel is broadcast in the U.K, which means Glenn Beck is as well. Ouch. Another byproduct of the increasing friction between Fox and Glenn Beck? Or, maybe, they’re just not interested in the same kind of “white power” tweets that Glenn Beck is?
Zaitchik was kind enough to talk with Angelo from the StopBeck effort: (more…)
A great illustration of the effects and influence that Glenn Beck’s willful deceit and reckless vitriol can have…(and yes, I’m aware it’s a cartoon)… (more…)
As with other advertisers, the StopBeck effort reached out to Polaroid. We kindly requested that they follow the responsible action of hundreds of other former advertisers and refrain from advertising on Glenn Beck’s show.
This morning, in a statement sent to the StopBeck effort, Polaroid explained why their ads were running in the first place and advised that Polaroid ads will no longer appear on any of Glenn Beck’s platforms:
Emson, our licensee, did not have approval to run this ad & we will ensure our ads will no longer More >
On the heels of the New York Times Magazine profile that highlighted the tension between Fox News and Glenn Beck as well as Glenn Beck’s lost advertisers, people keep asking me about Glenn Beck’s contract with Fox News as well as why Fox News is keeping Glenn Beck on television.
Regarding the contract…
I think it’s fair to assume that Glenn Beck has a contract with Fox News. But, if you listen to Glenn Beck, you’re left to believe that he doesn’t have one. Back in July, he lamented the loss of integrity in business. Glenn Beck believes that contracts exist because the More >
