Kaplan Tutoring Advises Recent Ad Was Run In Error

In July 2010, Kaplan Tutoring (a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company) pulled their ads from Glenn Beck’s show.
But yesterday (12/13/10), a Kaplan Tutoring ad ran during Glenn Beck’s show. Accordingly, participants in the StopBeck effort reached out for clarification and urged Kaplan to honor their commitment.
Kaplan advised the ad ran by mistake, tweeting:

Kaplan Tutoring Pulls Ads From Glenn Beck’s Show

Recently, Kaplan Tutoring advertisements began running on Glenn Beck’s program. Kaplan Tutoring is part of the Washington Post Co. family.
As with other advertisers, participants in the StopBeck effort sprang to action.
We kindly requested that they follow the responsible action of well over 100 other former advertisers and refrain from advertising on Glenn Beck’s show.
Well, your efforts paid off. This morning, Kaplan Tutoring advised that they have removed their ads from Glenn Beck’s program.
