Yesterday, Michelle Obama was on the Tom Joyner show. She thanked folks for their prayers, saying:
And let me just tell your listeners that it means all the world to us to know that there are prayer circles out there and people who are keeping the spirits clean around us.

[Updated] At Right Nation, Glenn Beck Delivers A Message To Michelle Obama

Last night, conservatives converged in Illinois at the Right Nation 2010 Convention. I lived tweeted most of it. It was mostly unremarkable, but if you’re really interested feel free to check my twitter stream.
About halfway through Mr. Beck’s speech, the live video feed was shut down – so the live tweeting ended at this point. I contacted the feed’s purveyor asking for confirmation of reports that the feed was shut down at the behest of Glenn Beck’s team, but they have not replied to requests for information.

Glenn Beck really should refrain from discussing the Obama children. It’s really dicey territory, even for him. Take for example, a recent headline from his website:
A similar headline also appeared in his daily email:
Actually Glenn, the First Lady didn’t call her kids “fatties,” nor did she suggest anything of the sort. The only person using the term “fatties” is you.
Glenny, you’ve got plenty of misinforming and preying on racial anxiety to do. So, how about you steer clear of the kids, okay?
